Troop News

We had and excellent meeting tonight thanks to our special guest speaker, Alabama House of Representative, Paul DeMarco. He spoke to the importance of earning the Eagle rank, volunteerism in the community and the importance of acquiring leadership skills. He also presented a Alabama flag to the Troop that was flown over the capitol on December 2, 2012. Thanks also Mr. Cox for inviting Representative DeMarco as our speaker tonight.

We need a couple of pick up truck loads of fire wood to be taken from the Hut to the Tree Lot as we are selling all we put out there. Need some suggestions on this particularly with the cold snap coming in the next few days. Crews working the lot, should make sure all of the trees on the ground are set up on lot during the next day or so.

The Troop Christmas party is next Monday..the boys were briefed by the Senior on what all the patrols will bring. If your son wasn't present tonight, he needs to call his patrol leader to get up dated.
